There is like this massive duststorm in Sydney. ***Note: This is NOT the picture of the duststorm brewing in Sydney right now, the internet doesn’t have one yet, I just got a random one*** Well, anyway. It is HUGE! Like I woke up in the middle of the night, it was very windy and there was like ghost noises (You know when the wind is going quickly through the window) yeah, well that noise. I looked out the window and literally, I thought it was the end of the world. The sky was blood red, literally. Blood, blood red. It was not dark at all. Just red. Pure red. Yeah, well, you get the point. Almost like the Victorian bush fires – except worse. I AM in Sydney at the moment. People are wearing masks where it’s thicker, some schools have closed, flights cancelled and delayed … When I went out to take Pasha out for a walk this morning (My grandma’s schnauzer) I could not open my eyes fully, the dust went in them and stung them and the cars parked outside the townhouses were covered in dust, you could draw on them and see them clearly, although I didn’t because it was someone else’s car. It was deserted like in one of those country western movies and there were only a few cars going past and very little birds flying around. And a friend of mine from Melbourne is supposed to be coming today, to Sydney I mean. We might not see each other, but oh well. I’m so worried about her because of the dust storms and how the planes are delayed and cancelled. What is with this weather? A few days ago, floods, storms, everything! Sydney being 35 degrees!!! Ugh! I hate climate change and it needs to stop … Now! And I am not like another Bindi Irwin because I really don’t want to be!!!

Spalding High Bounce Balls
Seriously, these balls are like the bomb now! Everyone has them, well, mostly everyone. I used to have 3. A pink one, a yellow one, and a blue one with swirls on it but my annoying little sister, Willow, stole my yellow one and lost it! She is so annoying. I mean, she rips the paint off my door and stuff. Well, anyway, even though this post is not about Willow, I’ll tell you what she did: After speed skating on Sunday morning (mind you his happened a few weeks ago) we went to MacDonalds with all the other speed skaters (like every Sunday) and she pulled down her pants, including her undies! Yuck! Anyway, so yeah. These balls are soon gonna have world domination but I must dare say that they are quite cool. At aftercare they converskated it because we were throwing it around. In fact, I think all of the spalding balls were converskated because everyone annoyed the aftercare peeps so yeah … It was funny.
Yeah, you’ve probably guessed. This is the most random post ever … But I’ve put on more random ones!!!

Good Horror Movies I’ve Watched
I love horror movies – the ultimate way to get scared. If you are under 15 ask your parents if you can watch them because some are M and MA. Anyway, here are some good ones:
1. The Shining
About a family, including a psychic boy named Danny going to take care of this hotel during the winter. Strange things are happening there, Danny’s father is going crazy and Danny keeps running into ghosts. Good movie.
2. The Sixth Sense
A boy named Cole, recovering from his parents divorce, Cole has a special Gift. He can see dead people. When a psychologist comes to help him, he gives Cole the best advice ever to help him get over his phobia of ghosts. Only Cole can see those ghosts. The psychologist is actually trying to get over something that happened, there was one boy a lot like Cole who he couldn’t help, he might get over that if he can help Cole? (The boy he couldn’t help committed suicide as you see in the first scene). A shocking ending!!!
3. Fragile a ghost story
Amy is a new night nurse at Mercy Falls Hospital. Replacing another one who unexpectadly left. When Amy meets Maggie, a young girl patient, she often talks about Charlotte, the machanical girl. But who is Charlotte? Is she really just a figment of Maggie’s imagination?
4. The Exorcist
When a 12 year old girl, Regan, starts acting funny, is she really sick? Is there really something medically wrong with her? Or is she possessed?
5. Amityville Horror (the 1979 one)
Based on a true story. Knowing about the murders that occured inside the house, a young family moves in. A newly married couple, along with 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 girl (from the lady’s previous marriage). Strange things start to happen and the youngest daughter starts communicating with her new “friend” called Jody. They soon discover they have to get out after finding what really lies in the house.
6. Rose Red
Yep, another Stephen King. Annie is an autistic telekinetic girl. Telekinesis is when you can move things with your mind. A lady, Joyce, is interested about the history of a “haunted” mansion called Rose Red, which is actually building itself. Joyce wants to “wake” Rose Red up. By calling a team of psychics to wake it up (among them is Annie and her non-psychic sister who is worried about her), they go into the house. But then they get trapped, the house won’t let them go. Will they ever get out?
7. IT
Yes, another Stephen King. Have you ever been scared of clowns?
8. Poltergeist 1, 2 and 3
It all started as a bit of fun. Objects moving by themselves, but then things start to get serious and their youngest daughter, Carol-Anne disappears.
(This movie is known to be cursed or something. Numerous deaths have occured while making this movie including the main character, Carol-Anne (Heather O’rourke) died at age 12 in the middle of filming Poltergeist 3, died of a disease too late to fix. In the first movie, their eldest daughter, Dana (I don’t know the actresses name) well the girl who played her was murdered by her boyfriend shortly after the movie was made. In the second movie they just had to make her go off to college.)
8. Carrie
Do you feel how Carrie feels. Like Annie, Carrie is telekinetic. While being asked out to the prom by her dream guy, Carrie thinks its a dream come true. But then something terrible happens, Carrie seeks revenge which is life-risking. Ever been bullied? So has Carrie. (Unlike Annie, Carrie is NOT autistic)…
9. The Eye
The Eye was originally a Japanese horror film. Well, this lady is blind. She has an operation but gets the eyes of someone else. Someone who is unlike everyone else. Someone who can see things that other people can’t see.
10. The Ring
I have been scared of watching a video and then the phone ringing for days. Well, there is teenage high school joke going around. But it’s not really a joke is it? Well, if you watch this certain video tape, you will get a phone call and die in 7 days. After the death of a girl who watched the tape and died in 7 days, just like that, a lady tries to discover who and why they made this video – until she discovers a woman called Anna who died, who loved horses and thinks the answer might be in that piece of history …
11. Signs
(Starring Abigail Breslin). After finding weird crop circles in the corn fields, they try to investgate who is cutting the corn. But when watching TV and seeing that they are happening all over the world, and strange things happening, strange lights in the sky, a bird hitting something invisible and falling dead. They can only think one thing: Extraterestrials.
12. Alien/Aliens
A young lady ventures off into space to do some studies. They land on a strange planet and soon after get invaded by aliens.
13. The Uninvited
(Starring: Arielle Kebbel (Cecilia in Aquamarine) and Emily Browning (Violet Baundelaire in Series of Unfortunate Events).) After the death of Anna’s mother, Anna is sent to a psychiatric hospital. After being sent back home, Anna and her sister, Alex, are convinced that their Dad’s girlfriend is evil and the fire that their mother died in was no accident. After Anna see’s her mother’s ghost it’s a fight between step daughter and step mother.
14. The Orphanage
It’s actually in Spanish so hard to follow but it’s pretty good. About an orphanage where all these kids die and this lady who actually went to that orphange sees all their ghosts. What do they want?
15. Orphan
A great psychological thriller. After adopting a 9 year old girl called Esther, after the death of their own child, Esther starts behaving weirdly. But what really is making Esther feel this way? Why does the orphanage have no track of her being there? A new movie that came out in 2009.
16. The Woods
Heather could never fit in. Heather is a teenage girl who is sent to a boarding school in England. It’s a pretty strange school. But what’s this school’s history? When Heather learns she has a gift and is very powerful, a lot of things start to unravel. Can she defeat the teachers?
17. The Mist
Theres something in The Mist. After a huge storm the night before a strange mist hangs over the town. After going to the grocery store the mist is everwhere. Soon, strange things start happening. A teenage boy is attacked by a monster. What is in the Mist? A horrific, shocking ending.
18. Cloverfield
This movie is sort of weird. During a party, strange booms “boom” outside. They go check it out. But then they learn that their town is getting invaded by these monster things.
19. The Host
A science experiment has gone wrong. After a few years have passed something has been developing in the lake. A giant lizard thing that will soon attack them all. When the young girl is taken by it. They have to try and get her out, knowing she is still alive.
20. The Grudge
A awfully scary Japanese horror film

Skating

***I DO NOT OWN THESE PHOTOS*** lol, it is probably very annoying that I say that on almost EVERY single post – I do two types of ice skating, figure skating and speed skating. I’ve been figure skating for 4 years now, and speed skating for about a month. I am a very slow learner so it takes me a long time to learn stuff. In figure skating, I quit levels and competing and I used to do synchronized skating but I stopped – I will tell you in person the reason why. The only type of skating I don’t do is hockey skating which is practically hockey on ice. I have the Jackson Competitor skate in figure skating and I don’t have any speed skates of my own yet, I hire them.
I do figure skating lessons on late Wednesday nights and speed skating on Sundays. (I am not putting any photos of me skating on here because it is wayyyyyyyy too embarrassing).
Anyway, gtg

St Kilda Beach
**I do not own this photo I got it off the internet**
Today we went to St Kilda beach, we walked on the pier. It was so windy and choppy. It’s a popular place in Melbourne and it wasn’t very crowded which was good because everyone was going to the football. Yuck. Anyway, it was lots of fun. I heard that in St Kilda beach the water was yucky but it wasn’t that bad – but I’ve never been swimming there so yeah. Mind you, St Kilda isn’t even half as nice as Coogee … but still, it’s the ocean. Mum and Dad are thinking about renting in St Kilda – that’s not too bad, at least it’s still the seaside, but I don’t know. I don’t like places with lots of noisy people, I like peace and quiet. I had a pretty unhealthy day today, I had this cool ice cream and this yacht chocolate thing. Now I feel to yuck with sweetness. I’m never eating junk food again! I wasn’t supposed to, but perhaps this one time I was unable to resist?

Random Stuff
Hi, I’m really and truly bored so I am gonna write a random post about, well, random stuff. lol. I’m glad I finished my novel, but I’m also quite sad because it was really fun to work on! Now I’m thinking about my next novel – my next novel is going to be a horror one! ooh! Anyway, it’s almost September – my horror month. Well, I have nothing against September, but it’s in Spring! Darn Spring! And Rotavirus goes around in Spring! And since Swine Flu is going around this year it might mutate and become Rota-Swine! That’ll be even worse. Well, I’ll tell you what Rotavirus is in case you didn’t know – it’s stomach flu … Gastroenteritis. And we all know what happens when you get Rotavirus … Yeah, I’m not going to say the V-O word. Can’t say it, can’t think about it. Refuse to say it, refuse to V-O. I have a phobia of it, it’s called Emetophobia (Pronounce E-mee-toe-phobia)
Yeah, well. On my computer, I have this thing called ‘photo booth’ and you can take pictures, and I LOVE the pop art style! (Which is the picture here). It’s awesome!
Anyway, my sister, Willow is coming to bug me again so I better go before she breaks anything in my room. She needs to learn that people want peace and quiet. Especially people like me.

I wanna be a surfer!

Hey Everyone! I’ve decided this summer I’m going to take surfing lessons. These pictures are of me and my skim board which I almost lost on my 10th birthday by a huge wave in Portsea. I love the beach and the surf so much, and every book I read is about the ocean or something like that. My biggest fear of surfing is jellyfish. I once got stung by a nasty bluebottle up in Sydney – not good. Anyway, Cya!

Ilona By The Sea
Something terrible has happened in eleven year old, Ilona’s life. Now Ilona know’s her life will never be the same again. Can she get over the anxiety of what happened last summer? Will she accept what’s happened and move on? A story of getting over anxiety and accepting life the way it is, even if it’s not going your way.
‘Ilona By The Sea’ is a novel I’m working on. She is a young girl of eleven, like me. A lot of Ilona’s characteristics are like mine, in fact, she’s a bit like me. Loves the ocean. I guess every story has a bit of the author in it. I hope you all read my book if it gets published. Anxiety is a horrible thing, and it starts at an early age. Everyone will go through some anxiety at some stage of their life. Ilona’s story is about getting over this, and understanding and accepting life the way it is, and moving on.

Summer
I love summer. Especially going to my grandma’s house and going to the beach every single day, I love the tropical looking ocean. I love Coogee Beach. But most of all, I just want to live near the beach. When “Ilona By The Sea” is finished, I might be able to. I also love the grey colour of the ocean in winter, it’s also beautiful. Maybe I like winter best because you can go to the snow, and still go to the beach and you could always wear a wetsuit. I guess most of my happier memories are in summer. Apart from the 47 degree days summer is great! I especially love the ocean, the excitement of coming to the beach everyday. This is my first post in a long time. I’m starting not to care what people think, but I’m still really sensitive. I’m starting to have more faith in myself. I really want to move back to the beach so bad like when I was little. I like the mountains, but I’ve seen too much of them. I think they’re lovely, I’m just not a mountain girl. I’m a beach girl, and I think the beach is awesome! I hate spring, hate it with a purple passion. But it’s quite embarrassing to say why, and I shouldn’t of said that because now, if you know me in person, you’ll probably be nagging me to know why this is. I also re-did my room a bit, rearranged my sea shells and things, my collection is too big now, over 1000 and I’m NOT exaggerating.
I was born near the sea, In Randwick. Randwick is in Sydney. It’s near Coogee Beach, we used to live in Coogee. I was too young to remember, but I know it was in a rented house on a cliff. Once Dad saw a water spout and every winter we’d see pods of whales pass by. I wish I could remember, or see it for myself – maybe I did, but can’t remember.
Anyway,
See ya,
Juni
